Carey Park overran a daring Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault at Brunswick Oval on Saturday night to win by 10 points.

The old guard at the Eaton Boomers led the way on Sunday to gain a valuable 46 point win over Augusta-Margaret River at Gloucester Park.

Led by Chris Atthowe, Kane Bloxsidge, Will Oelsnik and Jace Cormack, the Boomers put behind a horrible first quarter to run away with a comfortable 11.8 (74) to 3.10 (28) win.

Football fans were treated to a top game of football at VC Mitchell Park on Sunday when Donnybrook defeated Harvey Bulls by 36 points.

The 19.12 (126) to 13.12 (90) win put the Dons on track for their first finals appearance in ten years.


The Collie Eagles’ difficult start to the season continued when it lost to Busselton by 29 points at the Collie Recreation Ground on Sunday.

Busselton dominated most of the game and although Collie threatened at times, the visitors ran out 13. 12 (90) to 9.7 (61) winners.
