Final rehearsals and last minute preparations were made today for tomorrows Anzac day commemoration at Villers-Bretonneux in France.

The Department of Veterans Affairs are expecting more than 6000 to brave the chilly conditions for the dawn service.

Banners and posters advertising the special day were on display across the city of Amiens and the sound of Australian voices could be heard in pubs and bars.
