A dining event next month aims to combine the experience of fine dining with the natural setting of an orchard.

Foragers owner Sophie Zalokar is teaming up with Champagne Bureau representative Lexie Thompson and Fontanini's Fruit and Nut Farm owner Tony Fontanini to combine locally sourced food and genuine champagne.

The event - Boots and Flutes - will include an orchard tour and authentic champagnes sourced from France.

"The orchard walk will allow people to pick their own produce and get to know the Fontanini family story and the history of their growing," Mrs Zalokar said.

"It's a great story of inter-generational farming and the produce is very diverse in autumn."

Guests at the dining event will experience six champagnes paired with dishes that utilise in-season produce.

"It'll be sophisticated and rustic, thus Boots and Flutes," Mrs Zalokar said.

"Apples and chestnuts pair wonderfully with champagne."

Boots and Flutes will be held at the farm on May 2.

Tickets are $180 each and spaces are limited.

To book, phone Mrs Zalokar on 9776 1580.
