Street rods will be on display this weekend as the annual Busselton Show and Shine takes over Rotary Park.

As part of the Australian Street Rod Federation's Super Cruise Weekend, the cars will be displayed at the park from 9.30am on Saturday before a rally travels to The Moody Cow in the Fergusson Valley the next day.

Show participant Lyndsay Arnold, the owner of a 1929 Ford Roadster, said his "pride and joy" would be on show at the event.

Mr Arnold said people would be able to get up close and personal with more than 30 classic cars and hot rods for a gold coin donation.

"All the cars will be parked in the open space at Rotary Park and people can walk through and see them," he said.

As part of the weekend's events, American Graffiti will be shown at the Busselton Drive-In on Saturday night.

Money raised from the Show and Shine will go to a local charity.

Sunday's car rally will leave from Churchill Park at 11.30am, before leaving town via the main street.
