It's party time with Out of the Box + Into the Cube back tomorrow night after BREC's free community street party.

1. A night at BREC

Out of the Box + Into the Cube is back at BREC on Friday night. Indie-electro trio Crooked Colours will headline the show - their follow-up South West performance from Groovin The Moo Bunbury in 2014. They will be supported by GRRL Pal while DJ Sounds Legit spins tunes in the Sky Bar all night long. Delicious eats will be available from Bianco's and The Sky Bar will serve a variety of tasty summer drinks including the hugely popular jam-jar cocktails. 2. Summer School

Bunbury Summer School is back at the Stirling Street Arts Centre after a successful first year with more than 60 different workshops available until January 23. There are more than 100 sessions on offer in areas including arts and crafts, health and fitness, technology, music and fashion. Visit www.stirlingstreetsarts.com.au for more information.

3. Art party

BREC will be a hive of activity on Friday afternoon when the BREC Art Party is held in the undercover carpark, followed by Out of the Box + Into the Cube in the Sky Bar and Cube Theatre. The BREC Art Party is a free community event being held from 4pm to 8pm as part of Re.Discover week. Plenty of creative talent will be on show, including three artists who will paint pop-up artworks on the day. A chalkboard stage will also be set up for musicians to come along and play on the day. Come down and enjoy food, shaved ice, fresh juice and coffee while having a browse through art markets featuring local arts and crafts.

4. Catch a movie

Watch all the latest blockbusters at Grand Cinemas Bunbury. Opening on Thursday is family movie Paper Planes, which tells the story of a young boy's journey to compete in the world paper plane championships in Japan and reconnect with his father along the way.

5. Comedy night

Bunbury's first local comedy club launches on Friday with a line-up of international, national and local comedians in the cellar at the Lighthouse Beach Resort. Doors open at 6.30pm, live music runs from 7pm and the comedy begins at 8pm. Tickets are available online or on the door.

6. Re.Discover art

Bunbury Regional Art Galleries will launch its Re.Discover 2015 exhibition at 6.30pm on Saturday. The group exhibition will display artworks from 30 artists, including the 11 artists creating street art as part of the festival.

7. Hip hop

The Prince of Wales Hotel hosts talented hip hop artist L-FRESH The LION on Thursday night. The artist brings a fresh perspective on the genre with his uplifting, soulful rhymes and heartfelt tunes. Doors open at 8pm.

8. Walking art tour

Eleven artists will spend three days this week creating murals in Bunbury CBD for Re.Discover 2015. See the results with walking street art tours of the completed murals on Saturday, starting from the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries at 5pm and 5.15pm.

9. Disney Mulan Jr

The Bunbury Musical Comedy Group presents Disney Mulan Jr at the New Lyric Theatre, with shows running from January 17 to January 25. The show opens on Saturday at 11am and 2.30pm and a 2.30pm performance on Sunday. Tickets available at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre or call 1300 661 272.

10. Speedway

The motorsport season continues at Bunbury Speedway with Saturday's meeting featuring a USA Invasion Tour for Late Models, the second round of the 360 Sprintcar Track Championships, Round 3 of the Cleanaway Late Model Track Championship and speedcars and wingless sprints. Gates open at 4pm, racing starts at 6pm.
