AFTER an encouraging debut in 2014, street art festival Re.Discover returns next week at almost twice the size.

Community support for the murals created by WA artists on blank walls in the Bunbury CBD last year allowed Re.Discover founder Andrew Frazer to expand the size and scope of his creative roster for 2015.

"Doing the first one was about being really small, doing it well, getting people's confidence and on the back of that we've been able to expand," Mr Frazer said.

Re.Discover veterans Stormie Mills and Kyle Hughes-Odgers will be joined by artists from other States and countries, including Brisbane artist Fintan Magee, Netherlands artist Amok Island and Melbourne-based Japanese artist Twoone.

"Having the interstate boys is really special," Mr Frazer said.

"But all of these guys are brilliant, no one is there by accident."

Mr Frazer said he hoped the different skills of the artists would give everybody something they could enjoy.

"There's a very diverse range of different art styles, from more traditional lettering to brushwork, fine art and everything in between," he said.

Mr Frazer said property owners living in the area made it easier to find walls for the artists and he hoped to create 25 murals in the first three festivals.

Re.Discover begins on January 14 and finishes on January 17 with a walking tour, an exhibition and an after-party at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. Free maps will be available from direct sponsors in the CBD next week.
