Art partners excited by Perth exhibition

Bunbury artist Daniel Marinovich will be one of five from Bunbury’s Art Partners who will have their work displayed at a Perth art exhibition.

Mr Marinovich, Rosyln Burns, Janine Egan, Sam Everitt and Keon Hall will be a part of the As We Are Art Award and Exhibition opening in Perth on November 1.

They are all members of Art Partners, a group which provides mentors to artists with a disabilities.

Art Partners program officer Wanda Ariano said this was the third time Mr Marinovich has had his work in the exhibition.

This year he attended art classes with Edy Rees at the Red Mill Studio Gallery.

Ms Ariano said she was excited artists from Arts Partners had been entered for the exhibition and it showed the organisation was achieving its goals.

“We envision a community that is fully inclusive of people with disability, ” she said.

The exhibition, in Perth’s Central Park building foyer, runs from Sunday until November 14.
