Awards given a fresh focus
Margaret River’s Chamber of Commerce and its Tourism Association have joined forces and relaunched their annual business awards in line with the predominance of tourism-related businesses in the region.
The seventh annual MRCCI Business Awards will now be held under the combined banner of The Margaret River Region 2014 Business Awards and have an increased number of tourism categories.
The AMRTA said the collaborative initiative reflected the focus of both the MRCCI and AMRTA on industry development and their goals to add value to member support services through a credible award recognition process.
The judging will now include an on-site inspection alongside the written submission form for increased transparency and credibility of the award submission assessments.
The MRCCI and AMRTA invited all members in the business community to undertake the award submission process to refine their business planning skills, inspire innovation, highlight performance excellence and enjoy a night of celebration.
The awards event will be held in September. Nomination dates will be announced soon.
