Michael Ho was the first person across the line for the 33rd consecutive running of the Three Waters Bunbury Marathon on Sunday.

Ho completed the course, which boasts views of the Leschenault Inlet, Koombana Bay and Indian Ocean, in 2:38:16 – just under nine minutes quicker than the second-placed runner Brad Hart, with Etienne Rodriguez rounding out the top three in a time of 2:48:30.

Visna Jareb was the first female finisher in 2:55:33 with Kylie Durward 12 and a half minutes behind in second and Rolenda Giorgi (3:11:07) in third.

Brett Tucker won the 50km ultra marathon in 3:37:32 nearly 17 minutes in front of Ian Dunican, with Colin Francis third in 4:02:42.

Half marathon honours went to Paul Mackay in a time of 1:12:17, Nera Jareb the first woman home in 1:22:45.

Peter Adams claimed the 10km dash in 35:37 with Toni Heninemann the fastest female finisher in 43:13.

Bunbury professional triathlete Christopher Owens blitzed through the 5km race in 16:08, a minute ahead of his nearest competitor Daniel Rubick, with Annika Keall leading the women in 20:52.
