Big Fev returns to Rams

Brendan Fevola warms up before last year’s Rockingham Rams match. The AFL legend star is set to return to the Rams this weekend.

Rockingham Rams are keen to team up again with AFL legend Brendan Fevola for the round three game against Baldivis on Saturday.

Rams coach Craig Otto said the exciting match offered players the chance to learn from expertise of the highest level.

“It’s great to have a superstar playing in the forward line,” he said.

“When he played last year he kicked about 10 goals, opened up the forward line and taught our boys where to run and how to direct the game.”

Mr Otto said having Fevola play would draw a great crowd and hoped it would encourage people to support their local football.

Rams president Stephen Boyd said the club was excited to have Fevola play and hoped the community would support the game.

“We encourage everyone — young and old — to come down to Anniversary Park to witness one of the most exciting and prolific goal scorers the AFL has produced,” he said.

Bounce-down is at 4.30pm and entry is $8.

People can buy tickets through rockorams.president@gmail.com or at the gate on the day.
