Circus Royale owner Damian Syred and Man in the Bottle Miguel are excited to be returning to Rockingham.

Circus Royale is returning to Rockingham to perform the shows it cancelled earlier this year.

Owned by Port Kennedy resident Damian Syred, the big top will be at Dixon Road Reserve from March 13.

Syred said it was his “best circus yet” and is relishing his role of ringmaster.

“Growing up, I did all the things kids do,” he said.

“I tried to have a cool haircut and wear cool clothes.

“As ringmaster I get to seriously dress up, I love that.

“(There are) no less than 20 costume changes per show.”

The show includes all new acts for 2013.

They include a world-class high-wire motor bike act featuring John Fossett.

Syred said acrobatics would be performed by the UK Miller Duo, making high-speed spinning and staying upright on fast moving roller skates look easy.

The colourful Chilean Family Reyes gives traditional slapstick a modern makeover and the show will also feature ponies, llamas and dogs, plus jugglers.
