Bunbury has been given an early look at the newest designs from Perth designer Betty Tran, who will headline the South West Fashion Festival in March.
James Bond and old world glamour were the inspiration behind the stunning designs which make up Tran’s The Provocative Collection.
Classique Model Management will take 15 models and a team of hair and make-up stylists to Perth tomorrow for the collection’s first showing at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel.
But the South Western Times was given a first look at the luxurious collection, before both Perth and Melbourne.
Classique’s Tamara Herring said she and fellow director Nathan Gardiner were “thrilled and excited” to be part of tomorrow’s impressive catwalk show.
“To be asked to be part of the showing, it’s pretty big, ” Ms Herring said.
“We are taking the whole team as well as the models including hair stylist Cody Trimboli and make-up artist Jaye Weir.”
Ms Tran said the collection was inspired by the Bond woman — classy, sophisticated, sexy and smart.
Tickets for this year’s fashion festival, sponsored by the South Western Times, are on sale.
The three-day showcase will highlight the region’s wealth of talent and has gone from strength to strength since the first festival in 2011.
It will run from March 7-9 and aims to promote new or established South West designers, artists, photographers and retailers to the broader fashion industry.
Tickets are available at http://www.swfashionfestival.com/.
