Sunday Family Day at the Turf Club
Sunday Family Day at the Turf Club

Gallopers return to the Bunbury Turf Club this Sunday with an eight-race family day program scheduled.

Straight from the horse's mouth - or at least those who profess to know a bit about horses - our tipsters have been on a roll this season.

Here are their picks for Sunday's racing at Bunbury.

Julio Santarelli, RWWA

MONUMENTAL

- RACE 6 (2000m) - Steps up to more suitable ground and strips fitter for two runs in.

Riley Stuart, South Western Times

FA’EM

- RACE 6 (2000m) - On a winning run of three and was streets ahead of the competition when a six-and-a-half lengths winner at Bunbury at the weekend.

Fiona Hinds, www.swtimes.com.au

QUICKIE

- RACE 3 (1200m)- Newcomer Quickie looks to be close to breaking through for her first win and could be a value bet in this.

Paul Luzi, Lighthouse Realty

THE GREY DON

- RACE 8 (1100m)- I’m going for a roughie this week. Looking for some value and this horse didn’t had a lot of luck first up. Could surprise some of the more fancied runners.

Ashley Dillon, Spirit 621 South West

CHERIE AMOUR

- RACE 1 (1200m) - Back to the maidens for me and I like Cherie Amour, a filly carrying only 56kg which was a gallant second last start. It’s time for her breakthrough.

Flighty Filly, Greener Pastures

TWO FISH HEADS

- RACE 7 (1675m) - I’m going for an each way bet on Two Fish Heads – it could go either way.

Brody Russell, Bunbury Turf Club

STARFIELD IMAGE

- RACE 8 (1100m) - Talented mare who won well at Bunbury last start. Expect another bold showing this Sunday.
