Workshop for budding talents
Budding authors and artists are invited to a special workshop at the Gary Holland Community Centre on November 28 where Curtin University’s Helen Merrick will discuss the many ways arts practitioners can use the internet to further their careers.
Dr Merrick is a senior lecturer at the Department of Internet Studies at Curtin University where she teaches courses on new media and web publishing and has written numerous books and articles.
She supervises numerous PhD students, including creative writers and will offer advice on how to utilise the internet to manage an arts career.
