Georgia is the face for the Festival

The South West has its new face of fashion and she’s only 16 years-old.

Hundreds dressed to impress and flocked to Casellas Restaurant on Friday night for the 2013 South West Fashion Festival preview evening, featuring the announcement of Georgia Bignell from Burekup as the 2013 Face of the Festival.

Georgia said she was excited for the future and looked forward to working with new people after being named the Face of the Festival.

She will now go on to shoot the campaign for the festival as well as feature in the event early next year.

Classique Model Management director Tamara Herring, who organised the runway show with codirector Nathan Gardiner, said Georgia definitely had the X-factor.

For the first time a runner-up was also announced, with Shakira Marlan receiving the honour.

Jo Bevis won the South West Fashion Festival In Focus Photography competition.

The models vying for the title put on an enchanting show dressed in up-and-coming Perth designer Betty Trans creations, with 2012 face Tegan Ridgway dazzling in a beautiful finale dress.
