Daffodil Day full of treats
Daffodil Day full of treats

A mother and daughter are behind this year’s Daffodil Day extravaganza.

Carol Valom and Michelle Di Salvo have taken over the cancer fundraiser from long-time organiser Faith Jones.

It will be held at 135 DoakesRoad, Manjimup, on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, the highlight being a raffle for a colourful patchwork quilt.

‘‘We’re going to have loads of stalls selling wonderful produce and we’ve even got massages for people too,’’ Mrs Valom said.

‘‘People can expect a mouthwatering morning tea, scrumptious sausage sizzle, delicious homemade soup and much more.

‘‘Money raised will go towards a new air bed for Warren District Hospital, so come and join us for some fun in the name of a worthy cause.’’

Michelle Di Salvo and her mother Carol Valom are hoping for a good turnout to their Daffodil Day fundraiser on Saturday.
