Health forum to develop partnerships
Health forum to develop partnerships

A community forum will be held in Bunbury early next month to look at how local partnerships can be developed to support the delivery of child health services in the South West.

The Forum will be held on Tuesday, July 3 at 10.30am in the Marine Cove Community Health Centre on Hudson Road.

WA Country Health Service South West acting director of population health Jo Moore said that the forum was being held following the State Government’s budget announcement of an extra $58.5million over four years for early childhood care.

“The funding is to expand community child health services and the forum is being held to find ways of developing partnerships with local non government organisations to explore how we can support expanding delivery of those services locally,’’ she said.

``Not for profit organisations who are interested in taking up this opportunity, as well as relevant stakeholders, who may have an interest are invited to attend.’’

Agencies wishing to register attendance should e-mail gloria.clapp@health.wa.gov.au or telephone 9781 2356 for more information.
