Get ready for BANDiT Battle of the Bands
Get ready for BANDiT Battle of the Bands

It’s every band’s dream – to score that one break that gets them noticed and this could be that opportunity.

BANDiT Battle of the Bands is on again this September.

The competition, run by The City of Bunbury Youth Advisory Council, gives young bands the chance to get noticed and be in the running for thousands of dollars in prizes.

Last years winner, Dallas Royal has gone on to launch their first EP and tour the state.

There are only two requirements to enter - band members must be under the age of 25 and must play original music.

Apart from unearthing awesome new talent, the aim of the event is to grow the South West’s all-ages live music scene and encourage the creation of original music.

Through YAC’s regular BANDiT live music gigs, Bunbury is fast becoming the state’s premier centre for live, original music outside of Perth.

BANDiT Battle of the Bands is happening on Saturday, September 15 at the Bunbury Vineyard Auditorium.

Registration is $50 per band and can be done online at or by filling out a registration form, available at the City of Bunbury.
