The Manjimup-Bridgetown Times’ popular photo competition is back and this year it is the community who will decide the winners.

Photos for Round 1 of our competition - Landscapes - can be seen by clicking here. To vote, go to the image gallery Photo Comp - Landscapes on our Facebook page (Manjimup Bridgetown Times) and click on 'Like' for your favourite photo.

Starting today, the first round will be Warren Blackwood landscapes and to enter all you have to do is email one jpeg photograph to editor@mbtimes.com.au before midnight on Monday June 18.

The competition is once again being sponsor ed by McCays Home and Computer Centre in Manjimup, and managing director Jamie Doust said he was looking forward to seeing everyone’s entries.

‘‘Last year we were bowled over by the staggering number of fantastic photos that were submitted throughout all the different rounds,’’ Mr Doust said.

‘‘The level of photographic talent in the Warren Blackwood is amazing and we saw some stunning images that really impressed us.

‘‘McCays Home and Computer Centre is proud to sponsor the competition for the second year in a row and we hope lots of people submit their photos over the coming months.

After Monday’s deadline the entries for the first round of the competition will be posted on the Manjimup-Bridgetown Times Facebook page where they will be available for voting.

To vote for your favourite photo simply like it.

The photo with the most likes will be the winner and will be published in the Wednesday, June 27 edition of the newspaper, along with details of the next round.

If you do not have access to Facebook you can come to the Manjimup-Bridgetown Times’ office at 108 - 110 Giblett Street to view the entries in person.

The winning photographer of each round will receive 50 free prints and a half-price enlargement, courtesy of McCays Home and Computer Centre.

At the end of the competition the winning photographs from each round will be reposted on our Facebook page for the community to vote for an overall winner. Entries are limited to one per person per round and you must include your name, telephone number and a brief description of your photograph.
