BREC's Winter Festival an exciting mix

Next month marks the start of the highly anticipated Winter Film Festival at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

After an online public voting period in May, the results have been tallied with five fantastic films from around the world making the cut for the 2012 offering.

The festival will have 48 screenings from July 5-20, with three screenings a day over 16 film-filled days and nights.

There are a number of exciting films at this year’s festival including Wish You Were Here, an Australian psychological drama/mystery about four friends who lose themselves in the fun of a carefree South East Asian holiday.

For those who like a good drama flick, The Source could be right up your alley.

The third and final film at this year’s festival is British drama Trishna, from acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom.
