Christmas Shop open for business

Those looking for a unique gift this Christmas are encouraged to check out the annual Christmas Shop exhibition at the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries which has a wide variety of local artworks for sale.

Picture by Jon Gellweiler: Bunbury multi-media artist Elizabeth Royce shows off two of her art works which will be for sale at the Christmas Shop exhibition.

This highly-anticipated exhibition showcases the work of South West artists, craft workers and designers.

With a wide range of talents, the artists present a variety of media including ceramics, jewellery, painting, photography, sculptures and works on paper.

Unlike most exhibitions, all of the works exhibited are available to buy immediately.

‘‘This is a perfect way to find an affordable, one-of-a-kind gift while supporting our region and local artists,’’ galleries audience development officer Julie Blair said.

‘‘There is absolutely something for everyone in an exhibition of this nature.’’

The Christmas Shop will open on today at 7pm, and will run until January 22 next year.

The galleries are open every day from 10am to 4pm and entry is always free.

For more information, contact the galleries on 9721 8226 or email
