Grading work to begin Monday
Grading of the unsealed section of Cape Leveque Road will begin on Monday.
Shire of Broome director of engineering services Michael Dale said the work was expected to take four weeks and involved graders undertaking light trimming to improve the ride for traffic.
“Two graders will be undertaking the work starting at the northern end of the unsealed section of the Cape Leveque Rd near Beagle Bay, and working south towards the seal,” he said.
“Drivers using Cape Leveque Rd during this period are reminded to look out for graders operating on the road and to slow down when inside the ‘Grader Ahead’ signs and when approaching vehicles.”
