Residents pull man from burning caravan
An elderly man pulled out of a burning caravan at Cable Beach Caravan Park in Broome has suffered serious burns.
The man was taken to Broome Hospital after the incident about 8pm last Wednesday and was later flown to Perth by the Royal Flying Doctor Service for specialist treatment.
Broome Senior Sergeant Brendon Barwick said caravan park residents pulled the man out of the burning caravan, which was completely destroyed by the blaze.
Police on Monday, May 25, said they had completed their investigation and that there were no suspicious circumstances.
