Concert puts focus on healthy kidneys
Kununurra health providers teamed up to run the Nuff of the Puff and Kidney Care Concert at Whitegum Park for National Kidney Health Week and World No Tobacco Day.
The alcohol and smoke-free concert, which included live entertainment from local musician Peter Brandy, was hosted by Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council and was open to the public.
Representatives from Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service were also at the afternoon event, helping to raise awareness of kidney disease and encouraging people to have their kidneys screened.
The event was a success for all.
