Accolades for golf course

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder mayor Ron Yuryevich hopes more people will attend the Kalgoorlie Golf Course after it took out two gongs at the WA Golf Industry Gala Dinner.

The golf course won in both the Regional Golf Facility and Regional Golf Course categories on Friday night.

This was the first time the Kalgoorlie Golf Course, rated as the 25th best public access course in Australia, had received awards at the gala dinner, now in its fourth year.

Mr Yuryevich said he was pleased with the awards and hoped it would entice people to come to Kalgoorlie-Boulder to play at the course.
