MOU signed

Aboriginal Family Law Services and Centrecare recently signed a memorandum of understanding outlining how the organisations will work together in the future.

Executive manager for Centrecare Goldfields Awhiora Nia Nia said the agreement would result in a better standard of service for clients.

“To my knowledge, this is the first time (the two organisations) have entered into a formal agreement in Kalgoorlie,” Ms Nia Nia said.

“This memorandum of understanding means we are better able to provide quality service and make a positive difference for our indigenous clients. It obligates us to provide a good service for some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community.”
