Teachers get star treatment
Teachers get star treatment

North Kalgoorlie Primary School’s hardworking teachers and assistants were the stars of the school last week.

World Teachers Day on Friday, October 26, had students showing their appreciation for their teachers.

On Thursday, October 25, each teacher at the school received a certificate of appreciation, with compliments from their students written on them.

Gifts of various types of stationery goods were also awarded to each teacher.

Deputy principal Amanda Ixer said the school did not do anything last year, so they went all out this time.

“It was great to see everyone get acknowledged for all the hard work they do,” Ms Ixer said.
