Unstoppable Belora claims victory for Morton
Unstoppable Belora claims victory for Morton

After being postponed on Sunday due to a waterlogged section at the 50m mark of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club track, yesterday’s Boulder Cup was a huge success.

Earlier in the week, race officials opted to postpone the event after it was deemed unsafe for racing.

Despite a slight delay due to a power outage earlier in proceedings, the day’s racing went off without a hitch.

In what can only be described as a perfect day for racing, punters finally got the opportunity to watch one of the region’s premier events.

The Daniel Morton-trained Belora claimed victory after a strong finish from the bay gelding saw off the fancied Amelias Dancer.

Amelia Storm finished third.
