There is a new face at Kalgoorlie Directions.
Alison Sweet has been working as a training officer at the not-for-profit workforce development organisation for the past two months and is urging Kalgoorlie-Boulder residents to take advantage of the training opportunities available to them.
She previously worked as a medical researcher before deciding on a career change.
Ms Sweet said the high number of training options in Kalgoorlie-Boulder provided the perfect opportunity for people to start a career.
“In comparison to Perth, it really is a good option for people who just want to get out in the workforce,” she said.
