Steelers became the first team in the Eastern Goldfields Netball Association to book their place in the grand final following and eight-goal victory over Rookies at the weekend.
Leading by a goal at the first break, Steelers put in a dominant second-quarter display, scoring 13 goals to seven.
It was an impressive burst which set- up a match-winning seven-goal lead at the main change.
Outscoring Rookies by another three goals in the third term, giving them a comfortable 10-goal lead, Steelers were outscored in the final term.
However, they were never really challenged and the 47-39 victory gives them a break this weekend in preparation for the grand final.
Rookies will now look to stay alive in a preliminary final clash this weekend against Sonix, who defeated Mana, 35-26 in the first semi-final.
