Police seek witnesses
Kalgoorlie Detectives are looking to identify a knife-wielding bandit who has robbed two businesses on Hannan Street.
The man, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, first entered The Gypsy Collection last Thursday.
He threatened staff with the knife and demanded they hand over synthetic cannabis, but fled the shop when he was unsuccessful.
A short time later, the same man entered Shubh Creations and threatened a female shop attendant, before fleeing on foot after he was handed a quantity of cash.
The man is described as 170cm-180cm tall, with a fair complexion, slim to medium build and a goatee beard.
He was wearing a purple beanie, black jacket and dark coloured track pants on the day of the robbery. Anyone with information should phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Kalgoorlie Detectives on 9021 9703.
