Fairytale end to term
Fairytale end to term

Fairytale characters were all the rage for a picnic at Kalgoorlie Primary School yesterday afternoon.

Children from the school’s kindergarten classes dressed up as their favourite fairytale character for the picnic, which marked the end of the school term for the students.

There were plenty of Snow Whites and Robin Hoods and even a pair of twins dressed as Jack and Jill, though there were also some less traditional characters on display like Spiderman.

The children weren’t the only ones to have fun, with their parents and teachers joining in.

Kindergarten teacher, Michelle Western was dressed as Cinderella in a flowing blue dress.

She said the theme of the picnic was chosen because the children had spent the term learning about fairytales.
