Gidgee Gallopers off and running

The Gidgee Gallopers Relay for Life team is off and running in it’s quest for cash for the Cancer Council.

The team recently raised $720 from a firewood raffle and there are more activities in the pipeline.

Team captain Corey Jones said next up was a car boot sale in Centennial Park on June 23.

“It’ll be a fun day and donated goods would be appreciated,” he said.

Anyone can take their trash and treasure along and set up in a car bay for $5.

The Gallopers have even more action planned for August, with a music trivia night on August 10 and a race day on the August 26. For more information on the upcoming events, or to donate goods for the car boot sale, phone Mr Jones on 0419 197 381.
