Boulder Bowling Club will host a social competition on Sunday in a bid to raise money for the Cancer Council WA.
Bowling enthusiasts of all abilities are encouraged to participate in the event, with proceeds going to the Relay for Life. Club spokesman Colin Weightman said lunch and prizes would also be on offer for all who attended.
“We get a lot of support from the community so we just wanted to give something back,” Mr Weightman said.
He said money raised would be donated to the “Daffydills” relay team. “Anyone can come and have a game of bowls – it’s a very friendly atmosphere,” he said.
“We hope we can raise some money for the Cancer Council WA.”
The competition will get under way at 9am.
