Police on hunt for stolen motorbike

Geraldton Police are looking for a stolen motorbike used to travel to Perth.

Between Saturday March 8 and Sunday March 9, a white Augsta motorcycle was stolen from a Geraldton home.

It is alleged two men rode the bike from Geraldton to Perth.

On Friday police arrested a 22-year-old man over the theft, but are yet to locate the bike.

The man was charged with stealing a motor vehicle and will face Geraldton Magistrate's Court at a later date.

Police are also looking for the driver of a Holden Commodore involved in a pursuit near Geraldton on Sunday night.

At about 5pm, police unsuccessfully attempted to stop the vehicle near Dongara and a pursuit ensued.

The pursuit was aborted on Edward Road in Bootenal, 12km south east of Geraldton, for safety reasons.

Police would like to speak to a 33-year-old man from Mount Tarcoola about the pursuit.
