WA Nationals leader Brendon Grylls said yesterday Labor was setting out on a campaign to destroy the Nationals by giving preferences to the Liberals, a move which would virtually hand the seat of Geraldton back to Ian Blayney.
Mr Grylls said Labor needed to be honest with the people of WA and clearly state that a vote for Labor was now a vote for Liberal.

The seat of Geraldton is a strong Liberal seat won by Ian Blayney in 2008 when Nationals candidate Andrew Short preferenced him, despite Mr Short getting a 9 per cent swing his way.
Estimates are Mr Blayney holds the seat with a 5-6 per cent margin.
