The Geraldton Buccaneers have finally signed on the dotted line with American import Robert Kampman for the 2013 season, The Guardian can exclusively reveal.
The 203cm forward will travel from the States and arrive at the Buccs camp before the end of February.
Kampman played for the Willetton Tigers in season 2012 and was the league’s highest scorer — averaging 24.5 points per game.
He also averaged 8.4 rebounds per game and was one of the league’s most accurate free throw shooters too, making 87.7 per cent of shots from the line.
The 29-year-old played alongside Kalgoorlie transfer Shamus Ballantyne in the 2011 line-up for the Willetton Tigers.
