Church gets $1.455m towards relocation
Sun City Christian Centre has received a $1.455 million grant from Lotterywest to assist its relocation to Karloo.
State Youth and Community Services minister Robyn McSweeney joined Sun City minister Graham Fabian and Sun City Care (the church’s welfare delivery division) co-ordinator Bonnie Stafford for the funding announcement.
Ms McSweeney praised Sun City as having always been community- minded.
“You think nothing of it, you just get in there and do it,” she said.
Mr Fabian expressed his gratitude for the funding, and his optimism for the centre’s expanded activities.
