This tawny frogmouth family has a lot to thank Glenn and Janelle Ende for.

They are now celebrating the completion of that epic project, and the rescue of a mother tawny frogmouth and her chicks.
Housed in a smaller aviary, they were rescued from a pot plant suspended 5m in the air at Cape Burney’s Double Beach Caravan Park, where the mother would not leave to hunt after the adult male died of injuries sustained when hit by a vehicle.
Catching the entire family was a tall order, with Janelle lifted up in a tractor bucket.
