A woman was injured after she is believed to have fallen from a ute near Geraldton, in one of two serious weekend accidents in the Mid West.

Police said a 33-year-old woman was travelling in a Toyota HiLux being driven by a 45-year-old man off the Geraldton Mt Magnet Rd when the accident occurred about 6pm Saturday.

It is believed the woman was not wearing a seatbelt and the passenger door had not closed properly when she fell from the vehicle near Bringo, police said.
