The new Thingz Living store in the Homemaker Centre has been dubbed the fi rst of its kind.

Not only does the shop offer traditional furniture and decor options but a Gift Zone is set to make the shop unique.

Thingz Living general manager, Andrew Hillyar, said his intention was to make the shop one of a kind.

“Traditionally our stores are 650m2 but this one is 850m2,” he said.

“It was a great opportunity for us and it’s a lot bigger than any other store we have had before.”

The store opened on Friday, November 25, and Geraldton manager Andrea Barnden said the infl ux of customers had been amazing.

“The store has been extremely well received from the community,” she said.

“We have had great support and couldn’t ask for anything more.”

Mr Hillyar said his top priority was opening before Christmas.

“It is a beautiful-looking store and has a lot of variety,” he said.

“The Homemaker Centre is such a great spot for it and it will be great for the community.

“It has exceeded all of our wildest expectations.”

Thingz Living is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, and until 8pm on Thursdays and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
