Dating her way from A to Z
A 22-year-old childcare worker has embarked on a novel way to find her dream man - by dating her way through the entire alphabet.
Sam Ord has spent a year and a half dating men whose first names fit her alphabetised method, reports the Sun
She starts her adventure by dating Adam, Brad and Chris through to Will, Xavier and Yorkie - although she is yet to find a Z.
Sam confessed to cheating a little when it came to Y, because the only profile she could find was someone nicknamed Yorkie.
She said: “He was actually called Dave York but was a really lovely guy. I told him the story of my A-to-Z challenge because I thought it was funny. But he ignored my messages afterwards.
“Now I just have a Z to go. I am stalling because, to be honest, I don’t want this to end.
“Despite the ups and downs it has been a fun, eye-opening and an empowering experience.”
However, it has not always gone to plan. Recalling her fourth date, with Darren, she said: "He was good-looking and charming when I met him in a pub.
“But then I noticed he had a white mark where his wedding ring should have been so I told him I wasn’t into married men and walked out."
