Geraldton fans of popular Channel 7 show Beauty And The Geek Australia will have the added thrill of seeing a local on the show for this year’s season.
Courtney Sander, the only beauty on this season’s show to hail from Western Australia, is 19 years old and originally from Geraldton.
She has recently moved to Perth. The fashion sense exhibited on hit show Desperate Housewives — in particular, a pink suit worn by one of the characters , which aligns with Sander’s life-long love of the colour — provided a source of great inspiration to Sander in choosing to seek work in real estate.
Sander’s profile on the show’s website purports a willingness to learn as being a motivating factor in her engagements with the geeks.
“I love learning. So I hope I learn a lot more from like geeks, ust like general knowledge because I know I don’t have a lot of general knowledge,” she is quoted as saying.
“I thought Sydney was in Queensland!
“So I’m really excited to learn the things I need to learn.”
Beauty And The Geek Australia airs tomorrow at 9.30pm on GWN7.
