Mitsubishi rings changes in ASX

The Mitsubishi ASX now features improved handling stability and ride comfort.

Mitsubishi has tweaked its entrant into the booming baby SUV market, fitting the 2015 ASX with a host of new features.

Key among the changes have been alterations to refinement on the road. Mitsubishi says it has significantly improved steering feel, handling stability and ride comfort, while noise, vibration and harshness levels have been decreased.

The company also has upped the performance on variants armed with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and continuously variable transmission, with more responsive acceleration feel from a standing start and at mid-range speeds.

The CVT models also have a 4 per cent fuel saving, now using 7.4L/100km.

There have been cosmetic changes also, with new-design 17-inch alloys, daytime lights, chrome exhaust tip, privacy glass and more.

The ASX range is available at showrooms now and starts at $24,990 for the two-wheel-drive LS model.
