Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are creating a range of vegan pet food.
The talk show host and her wife are gearing up for the opening of their vegan restaurant in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, and have also decided to work on a line of nibbles free of animal food for pets.
"The couple also are developing a line of vegan pet foods - after discovering a void in the market for people looking to feed their dogs and cats vegan vittles," reports Chicago Sun-Times.
At the moment there is no word on when the range of treats will be available, or if they will cater for other furry creatures such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
DeGeneres and de Rossi - who changed her surname to DeGeneres in 2010 - have been committed vegans for several years.
Their way of eating means followers consume no animal products at all, including butter, eggs or milk.
Earlier this year, DeGeneres launched a website for vegans featuring recipes and information on veganism.
