You can show your support for people with Parkinson's disease by taking part in the annual Unity Walk on Sunday, September 9.
"With the help of community members and Perth businesses, Parkinson's WA is aiming to raise $100,000 to help people in WA living with Parkinson's disease," a spokesperson said.
"With an ageing population, the number of people being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease is rapidly rising in Australia, with someone diagnosed with Parkinson's every hour."
Unity Walk raises money to create awareness about the degenerative neurological disorder.
The event, now in its third year, will be held at Perry Lakes Reserve and organisers are also urging people to volunteer on the day.
