UPDATE: The Kingdom is about to have another loyal servant.

Lionco shook up the packaged beer market last year with the introduction of the Tap King keg system, that's the one in which every time you look in the fridge you seek Lionel Ritchie at the piano.

Suddenly the front bar of the local pub could be at home with draught brews competing with those in bottles and cans.

However, only six beers, XXXX Gold, Tooheys Extra Dry, Hahn Superdry, Toohey’s New, James Boags Lager and Chancer Golden Ale, were available in the kegs during the initial release.

But Lionco have declared to the loyal Tap Kingdom brethren that the James Squire 150 Lashes Pale Ale will soon be added to the stable. And another could also soon be on the list.

Pictures of unmarked kegs appeared on the brand’s Facebook page before a select few were sent an email highlighting the arrival of the new labels.

There had been a flurry of social media talk about which beers would be available.

Eagle Bay Brewing have also expanded their range with the release of a Black IPA.

And Mane Liquor, which was last year voted Australia’s leading beer shop, is inviting patrons to test drive the new brew on Anzac Day.

The outlet in Belmont will be having a special launch of the beer from 4pm with the added incentive of some great toasties that can be washed down the South-West drop.
