Canada’s largest whisky maker has perfect timing for a renewed push into Australia.

Crown Royal was created to honour the tour of the North American country by King George VI in 1939.

In 2015 Australia is entertaining a member of the Windsor family. Prince Harry is visiting as part of his military duties.

Crown Royal have gone into the ready to drink range with Dan Murphy’s showcasing the new four packs this month.

The bottles come in two flavours – cola and dry.

But The Sip has expected its palate and thoroughly enjoyed the Crown Royal De Luxe neat during a recent taste test.

According the Canadian law, Crown Royal Whisky must be mashed, distilled an aged for three years in the country.

It is made from milled corn, rye and malted barley, aged in seasoned and new, white oak and selected at its optimum maturity.

The procedure brings out vanilla, caramel, cherry and oak flavours.

The cola and the dry mixes cost $22.49 for a four pack.
