She's a self-confessed health nut, has a chihuahua called Chai Berry and, with the help of her trusty Thermomix, is pulverising and blending up nutrient-rich raw cheesecakes and slices that look almost too exquisite to eat.
Love, Live, Nourish's founder Aurora Gilbert hasn't looked back since throwing in her executive assistant job in the city and following her passion - soul food.
"My parents were into holistic health, so my whole childhood revolved around fresh, organic ingredients and lots of healthy salads," said Ms Gilbert, who follows a mainly organic wholefoods diet and is studying naturopathy and kinesiology.
Her first supplier, Alex Carciotto of Fremantle's The Roasting House, gives her free rein to dream up cake creations and slices each delivery.
"Alex just says, 'Do what you like'- so his customers never know what's on the menu each week," she said.
"The cakes have really taken off but the carrot cake is probably the most popular among adults and children."
Ms Gilbert uses Doterra essential oils among her ingredients, which not only add subtle flavour, but impart super doses of antioxidants and healing properties.
The moist, light carrot cake is made with coconut flour, white mulberries, which add a delightfully chewy caramel character, lemon essential oils, cinnamon, mixed spices and dates. Another crowd-pleaser is her berry and lemon cream slice made with a super mix of cranberries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, organic vanilla beans and a nutty base.
"My other passion is raw chocolate. I once had a personal trainer who only wanted payment in my raw chocolate desserts. I would make him Ferrero Rocher-style slice with roasted hazelnuts, white mulberries and raw chocolate which was the inspiration for my double-choc fudge cake," she said.
Her products, which include a range of energy and protein balls, are dairy and gluten-free and are mostly organic and vegan-friendly with a handful of cakes made with roasted nuts. "So we're not 100 per cent raw," she said.
