Fashion coup for Bruug

Designer Natasha Butler is set to follow in the footsteps of other famed WA fashion stars by making her Telstra Perth Fashion Festival debut.

The designer, whose husband is Eagles player Sam Butler, will show her label Bruug as part of the WA Designer Collections show on September 19 at the new purpose-built Fashion Paramount space at Perth Concert Hall.

Butler will join others such as Zed Alliance, Steph Audino and Wild Horses in the line-up, which showcases the very best of established local design talent.

It's been a steady ride to success for the former interior designer, who only launched Bruug last year but has already celebrated launches, a pop-up shop, a kids' diffusion line and a collaboration with Rosendorff Jewellers.

Her collections of sleek, affordable basics in monochrome tones have become fast favourites not only with the WAG set but also a wider community of fashionistas looking to achieve high-end looks for less.

Butler previously told Access All Areas that, while she missed the deadline to be part of last year's festival, she was looking forward to showing Bruug designs at TPFF in the future.
